Announcing the Universitywide Faculty Awards for 2020–21

With tremendous thanks to all our faculty members for your remarkable work this past year, Executive Vice President Prabhas Moghe and I are pleased to announce the recipients of our annual Universitywide Faculty Awards for 2020–21. 
 
Each year these awards have honored outstanding members of the Rutgers community selected by their colleagues for exceptional contributions to teaching, research, or public service through a program of eight awards: 
 
The Warren I. Susman Award for Excellence in Teaching,
The Board of Trustees Research Fellowship for Scholarly Excellence Award,
The Presidential Fellowship for Teaching Excellence,
The Board of Trustees Award for Excellence in Research,
The Faculty Scholar-Teacher Award,
The Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching,
The Rutgers College Class of 1962 Presidential Public Service Award, and
The Ernest E. McMahon-Class of 1930 Award.  
 
For each award category, the recipients receive a commemorative certificate and an honorarium.
 
This year we have created an additional award category, The Presidential Outstanding Faculty Scholar Award, to honor faculty members who have been newly promoted to full professor and whose breadth of academic portfolios reflect outstanding research, scholarship, or creative work, as well as truly outstanding contributions to teaching along with extensive service to the Rutgers community and beyond.
