An Important Message: Upload Your Vaccination Record

Dear Rutgers Students,
 
I hope the summer is treating you well and that you are looking forward to a vibrant and busy campus experience in September. The past year has been a challenge for all of us, and I hope you share my enthusiasm for a return to “normal” as quickly and thoroughly as possible. 
 
As you know, we have mandated that all students enrolling for classes for the fall semester be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. Getting vaccinated is the key to defeating the pandemic and returning to a campus that is fully alive and active, full of students, faculty, and staff doing all the things that make Rutgers such a special place.
 
One of the keys to quickly returning to “normal” is knowledge about just how many students have met their requirement to be vaccinated. It is critical that you upload your vaccination information as soon as possible. Many of you have already done so, but there are other vaccinated students who have yet to upload the information, and the due date is rapidly approaching.
 
Uploading is easy and only takes a minute or two. 
 
As an added incentive to students to upload their vaccination cards, every student who has done so will automatically be entered into a drawing to win one of fifty $500 gift certificates to Kite+Key, our on-campus computer and technology store. The gift certificate may be used for any products offered at the store.
 
The drawings will occur on August 1st and will be open to all students who have uploaded their cards, regardless of when the uploading occurred.
 
Our response to the pandemic has shown how deeply we care about each other and how much we respect and value every member of the Rutgers community. Getting vaccinated and uploading your vaccine status is one more way that we can demonstrate our individual commitment to each other.
