Women From the Bench and Bar to Discuss Women’s Progress in the Legal Profession on November 25 at Rutgers–Newark Law School
Newark, NJ – The Women’s Law Forum at Rutgers School of Law–Newark will hold Ladies Day 2008, a panel discussion on the barriers women have overcome to achieve success in the legal profession, at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, November 25. The event takes its name from the past practice of some Harvard Law School professors to call on female students to speak in class only once a semester – on Ladies Day. The panelists reflect the diverse perspectives of women attorneys in different practice areas. Ladies Day 2008 is sponsored by the law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.
