Vets4Warriors Hosts Sgt. Maj. Bryan B. Battaglia, Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff

What: Sgt. Maj. Bryan B. Battaglia, the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff visits Vets4Warriors, the 24/7 peer support helpline for Service members and their families. Battaglia is highest-ranking enlisted member in the U.S. military.

Battaglia, the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; Lisa Battaglia, his wife; Christopher Kosseff, President & CEO, University Behavioral Health Care; Maj. Gen. Mark Graham (Ret.), Senior Director, Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care Call Center. Vets4Warriors peer support specialists and clinicians will host a discussion on the program and how it serves members of the military and their families. 

Background: Vets4Warriors (www.vets4warriors.com; 855-838-8255) is a 24/7 confidential/anonymous peer support helpline for Service members and their families operated by Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care with funding from the Defense Suicide Prevention Office. Since 2010, Vets4Warriors has provided assistance to military members and their families across the globe through its peer support line. Calls are answered by Veterans, who understand the unique challenges of military, and can provide ongoing peer support and resource referrals. All calls are confidential and caller information is not shared with the military.
