A lecture on the Balkan Diaspora and the future of the Balkans.

WHO:

Guest lecturer, His Excellency Dr. Haris Silajdzic, is a Bosniak politician and academic. In the 2006 elections, Dr. Silajdzic was elected as the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina for four years in the rotating presidency. Recipient of a doctoral degree from the Faculty of Arabic language and the Islamic studies in Libya, Dr. Silajdzic has served as a professor-at-large at Cornell University and a guest lecturer at Harvard University, the University of Maryland, and other colleges and universities worldwide.
