CANCELED: Attorney and Television Personality Star Jones Reynolds to Host Roundtable Discussion at Rutgers-Newark Nov. 12

WHO: Star Jones Reynolds, attorney and television personality is best known as a former co-host of the ABC weekday morning talk show The View. In August 2007 she began hosting her own television program about law and popular culture as executive editor of Court TV Daytime programming. In addition she is active with her charity, The Starlet Fund.

Star Jones Reynolds holds a B.A. from American University and a law degree from the University of Houston. After law school she worked in the Brooklyn District Attorneys office, drawing on the influence of her parents, who were both civil servants, in her career choice of public service.

WHAT: Roundtable and luncheon discussion about higher education in the U.S., and in particular the importance of higher education in urban communities.
