NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – A variety of activities will showcase the arts and humanities at Rutgers Day. New Jersey residents and friends are
invited to explore the state university on the New Brunswick and Piscataway campuses Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission, parking and shuttle transportation among the campuses are free.
From a trivia game that tests knowledge of world religions to a seminar on Bruce Springsteen’s enduring popularity, there promises to be something for everyone. Here is a sample of available programs:

The Classics Department will host Rutgers’ version of Fashion Week on the steps of Brower Commons. Students and volunteers will don Greek and Roman high fashion from 29 B.C. Disc Jockey Korenelius, the alter-ego of classics Professor T. Corey Brennan, will emcee and play contemporary music.

Inspired by the renowned Parisian coffee shop Les Deux Magots, the Department of Philosophy will engage individuals in intellectual debate while drinking espresso at the Philosophy Café on the Voorhees Mall.
- The School of Communication, Information and Library Studies will host a cub reporter workshop for kids, a public speaking session and a pop culture quiz about the Garden State.

The Department of Linguistics will teach Japanese rap and rhyming in Scott Hall.
