CAMDEN – Why wait for winter to ice skate? Carve your pumpkin and skate, too, at the Rutgers–Camden Fall Fest from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, when the campus’ tennis courts will be transformed for a night into an ice rink under the stars.
Sponsored by the Campus Center and Office of Campus Involvement, this free, public event will feature ice skating, with various sized skates provided, foam pumpkins for decorating, and seasonal foods like hot cider and cocoa, caramel apples, and an assortment of pies.
Complimentary Rutgers scarves and gloves will be provided to those who donate a food item for the Rutgers Against Hunger effort that supports the FoodBank of South Jersey.
The Rutgers–Camden tennis courts are located on Second Street, between Cooper Street and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on the Rutgers–Camden Campus.
