– The successful theatrical partnership continues between Rutgers University in Newark and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. The Rutgers/NJIT  Theatre Arts Program, which taps the combined talents of Rutgers and NJIT students and faculty, will produce two shows in spring 2010. SWEENEY TODD, THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET, a Musical Thriller

Music and Lyrics and Book by Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler; from an Adaptation by Christopher Bond; originally directed on Broadway by Harold Prince, originally produced on Broadway by Richard Barr, Charles Woodward, Robert Fryer, Mary Lea Johnson, Martin Richards in Association with Dean and Judy Manos.
Directed by Michael Kerley; Jim Wise Theatre, Kupfrian Hall, NJIT Campus

Directed by Louis Wells; Bradley Hall Theatre, Rutgers-Newark Campus, 110 Warren St., Newark; April 21, 22, 23, 24: 7 p.m.; April 25: 2:30 p.m.

Tickets: Students/Senior Citizens:  $10; General Admission:  $12; children under 15:  Free.
