Rutgers University–New Brunswick’s job fair, among the largest and most diverse recruiting efforts in the nation, is getting a head start this year.

Shifting from a spring event, the Winter Career and Internship Mega Fair returns to Livingston Campus for two days. The fair is set from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, and Friday, Feb. 2, at Jersey Mike's Arena, 83 Rockafeller Road, Piscataway.

The event is open to Rutgers students and alumni from all academic disciplines and locations (New Brunswick, Camden, Newark and Rutgers Health). There will be about 150 booths each day featuring a different pool of employers.

Representatives from about 300 employers will be available to network with 4,000 expected candidates over two days to discuss full-time, part-time and internship opportunities in various fields, said Lisa Goddard, senior assistant director of career and internship fair management at the Office of Career Exploration and Success (CES), which is organizing the event.

“With nearly 50,000 undergraduate and graduate students and nearly 450,000 proud Scarlet alumni, Rutgers will be a top destination for employers to recruit the most talented and diverse candidates,” said Michelle St. George, director of industry and student connections at CES.
