Carl Gersh, an MBA student at the Rutgers School of Business-Camden, has been named a 2007 Forty Under 40 recipient, an award honoring men and women who share a commitment to business growth, professional excellence and the community.

NJBIZ and the program sponsors will honor this years 40 winners during an awards ceremony on Monday, Sept. 24, at the Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, New Jersey. Winners will be highlighted in a special supplement to NJBIZ on Oct. 1.

Gersh was recognized for founding and managing BeSeen Communications, a successful and fast-growing marketing/advertising/Web/public relations agency. Since the early days of operating as a two-person company out of his living room, Gersh has grown BeSeen into a thriving, six-person advertising agency, with offices in downtown Moorestown.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Gersh is very active in the local community. He contributes pro bono PR work to various charities and volunteers as a coach in the Mount Laurel United girls travel soccer club. He is also an MBA candidate at the Rutgers School of Business-Camden.

The awards program, produced by NJBIZ, is sponsored by AXA Advisors and Wiss & Company.
