Rutgers University–Camden will host a film screening and talk with Academy Award-nominated documentarian and feature filmmaker Robert Pulcini, a 1989 graduate of Rutgers–Camden, from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14.
Pulcini’s new film 10,000 Saints, starring Asa Butterfield, Ethan Hawke, and Emily Mortimer, will be presented from 4 to 5:50 p.m., followed by a talk with Pulcini, who will discuss his career in filmmaking.
The event, which is free of charge and open to the public, will be held in the 401 Penn classroom, accessible from the side of the Paul Robeson Library, on the Rutgers–Camden campus.

Collaborating with his wife, Shari Springer Berman, Pulcini co-wrote and directed American Splendor (2003), nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay and winner of a Movie of the Year award from the American Film Institute, as well as the critically acclaimed The Nanny Diaries (2007), The Extra Man (2010), and Cinema Verite (2011), nominated for three Golden Globe Awards.
Born in Cherry Hill, he earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Rutgers–Camden and a master’s degree in film from Columbia University. He and Berman currently live in New York.
