Information Session June 6 on Rutgers' Off-Campus Degree Programs Offered at Raritan Valley Community College
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Individuals interested in learning about bachelor’s degree-completion programs offered by Rutgers at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) can attend an information session from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, in the Conference Center at RVCC, 118 Lamington Road, Branchburg.
Rutgers’ Off-Campus Programs offer persons holding associate’s degrees or the equivalent from an accredited institution the opportunity to earn a Rutgers degree close to home or work through a partnership with RVCC. Rutgers @ RVCC offers degree-completion programs in criminal justice, liberal studies and psychology. Political science will be added as a major in spring 2013.
All courses are taught by Rutgers faculty from academic departments on the Rutgers regional campuses. Fulltime academic advising by Rutgers staff is available on site. Graduates earn Rutgers degrees and become Rutgers alumni.
Current students and alumni of the Rutgers @ RVCC program will be on hand at the information session, along with advisors, to answer questions and meet with prospective students.
