CAMDEN – New Jersey Superior Court Judge Nelson Johnson will discuss his book Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City and the HBO series it inspired at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 at Rutgers–Camden.
Sponsored by the Rutgers Sports and Entertainment Law Society, the free and public event will take place in Room 204 of the Law School’s West Building on Fifth Street, between Cooper Street and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on the Rutgers–Camden Campus.
The celebrated historian will discuss his time as an attorney for the Atlantic City Planning Board, his reasons for writing Boardwalk Empire, and the impact of the HBO series on his career.
