(Newark, N.J., Jan. 30, 2008 ) -- Black History Month commemorations at Rutgers-Newark are as diverse and rich as the history they celebrate, ranging from one of the state’s oldest and most honored programs, the Marion Thompson Wright Lecture Series on Feb. 16, to a black networking social to a book-signing by Randal Pinkett of “The Apprentice.”  All events are free and open to the public.
