Attorney Bruce Greenberg Analyzes Class Action Litigation at Rutgers’ Evangelides Lecture February 9
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Bruce D. Greenberg, a partner with the Lite DePalma Greenberg law firm, Newark, will ask, “Class Action Litigation: Who Benefits?” at Rutgers University-New Brunswick’s Alice and Stephen Evangelides Lecture and Forum Tuesday, Feb. 9.
The 8 p.m. lecture is presented by the Department of Political Science, School of Arts and Sciences, and hosted by Distinguished Professor Milton Heumann. Greenberg is a highly experienced litigator with more than 30 years of practice in providing sophisticated representation to clients in appellate and complex commercial litigation. He has extensive experience handling complex products liability, antitrust, securities fraud and consumer fraud class actions across the country, at the trial and appellate levels.
Greenberg has presented numerous cases before the Supreme Court of New Jersey and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. As lead and co-lead counsel in many class action cases, he has helped clients win significant victories, including an insurance sales practices case that resulted in a nationwide class settlement worth more than $750 million.
The Evangelides Lecture and Forum honors the late Alice Sofis Evangelides, Rutgers’ first employee counsel, who had a strong interest in public law, and her late husband Stephen.
