The Scarlet Knights men’s soccer team made history in November by beating Indiana, 3–1, to claim its first Big Ten Tournament Championship—the first in any men’s sports at Rutgers University–New Brunswick. Senior MD Myers was chosen as Offensive Player of the Tournament; senior Hugo Le Guennec was named Defensive Player of the Tournament; and senior Chris Tiao, senior Jackson Temple, and freshman Ciaran Dalton were selected to the All-Tournament Team. For the first time since 2015, the win qualified the team to appear in the NCAA Tournament, in which they lost to Penn State, 3–0, in the first round.

The Scarlet Raiders men’s soccer team won its first Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship since 2015 as Rutgers University–Newark beat Penn State Behrend, 3–1, and finished the season with a record of 11-6-6. The run to the championship garnered All-Tournament Team honors for seven members of the Scarlet Raiders.
