Well-Guarded
With the graduation of star guard Arella Guirantes SAS’20, who was drafted 22nd overall by the Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA, the Scarlet Knights women’s basketball team is in the thick of competition against Big Ten opponents this winter restocked at the guard position. Five of the six players who transferred to Rutgers are guards (second from the left to the right): Sayawni Lassiter (Florida State), Shug Dickson (Missouri), Victoria Morris (Old Dominion), Jailyn Mason (Arkansas), and Lasha Petree (Bradley). They are joined by forward Osh Brown (Ball State) (far left) as the team makes the push to go deep in the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments.
