When the COVID-19 pandemic required students at the Mason Gross School of the Arts to shelter at home, aspiring artists were denied the lifeblood of their calling: audiences, stages, production studios, and galleries. For sustenance, the school invited artists to upload images and video of artistic expression at masongross.rutgers.edu/covidart to share with the Rutgers community as part of a series entitled  “Art in the Time of Coronavirus.” Visit the school’s Instagram account at instagram.com/mgsarutgers to see the variety of artistic expression and the comments of artists.
