Over-Policing of Black and Latinx Youth in Pomona
This webinar will correspond with the release of the first Year of Justice report and will explore the disproportionate number of Black and Latinx youth who are arrested by the Pomona Police Department.
The Samuel D. Proctor Institute for Leadership, Equity, and Justice invites Gente Organizada, a local non-profit, and Pomona community members to share their testimony on the advocacy and social justice efforts. This collaboration is a case study and a blueprint for social justice efforts in other cities across the United States.
