Come home to Rutgers–Newark and celebrate the Scarlet Raider community that connects us all. Reconnect with classmates, faculty, alumni, students, families, and friends during Rutgers–Newark Homecoming 2026 on Saturday, October 24. Whether you’re returning to campus for the first time in years or attended Homecoming last year, this is your chance to celebrate Scarlet Raider pride, make new memories, and experience the energy of our vibrant campus community.
Homecoming Experiences:
- Chancellor’s Breakfast at 9:00 a.m. - Start the day with fellow Scarlet Raiders and campus leadership.
- Homecoming Celebration beginning at 10:00 a.m. - Enjoy interactive experiences, food trucks, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun for all ages. A food truck voucher is included with the admission fee.
- Campus Tours -12:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.
- Scarlet Raider Soccer at 3:00 p.m. - Cheer on the Rutgers–Newark Men’s Soccer Team as they take on Rowan University.
- The first 300 pre-registered guests that check-in at Homecoming will receive an exclusive Rutgers-Newark 80th Anniversary t-shirt.
