    Keynote Presentation
"The Human Advantage: Online Teaching & Learning in the AI Era"

    Michelle Pacansky Brock
Michelle Pacansky-Brock, Professional Development Coordinator, Foothill College

As human beings, our brains are wired for connection with others. This human principle applies to everyone, all the time -- including online classes. In this presentation, Michelle Pacansky-Brock will consider the research about the learning science of diversity and examine how to cultivate care and connection at a distance, while maintaining high standards at the same time. The keynote will also explore how being real, authentic, and imperfect are even more valuable now in the AI era.
