Ashley Koning, director of the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling, will provide an overview of public opinion polling and discuss the delicate balance between its objective and subjective nature and its often overlooked roots in probability and uncertainty.

She will also take a look at polling during the 2020 presidential election cycle, how it compares to 2016, whether we should trust it, and what challenges lie ahead for polling.
