Engineering Speaker Series: Diversity in Action
Rutgers School of Engineering, in collaboration with Rutgers Engineering Alumni, proudly presents the Engineering Speaker Series hybrid event, Diversity in Action.
When there are diverse teams and an inclusive culture it results in greater output and better products. Modern employees want a workplace that represents a wide range of voices – and want to work for a company that commits to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). When employees feel included in their work environment, they are more committed to the work they do, the colleagues they work with, and the company they belong to.
While we know that DE&I is good for people and business– do we understand how to put diversity into action?
You are invited to join a discussion with pioneers who are putting practices of diversity, equity, and inclusion into action in industry. Moderated by interim engineering school dean Alberto Cuitino, this discussion will take a deep dive into the nuances of DE&I in the STEM space and will explore the value and impact of these practices.
