Café Democracy
The Eagleton Institute of Politics is proud to launch its Café Democracy series as part of its 70th anniversary and the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
Grab a cup of coffee (or tea) and join us for a moderated group discussion inspired by Revolution NJ’s Tavern Talks and the Rutgers Democracy Lab’s Talking Across Difference initiative. Channeling the spirit of camaraderie found in taverns and coffee shops, Café Democracy is a monthly event series bringing people together to discuss ideas and consider how we can strengthen our democracy.
The theme of discussion for this session is Civic Responsibility and Participation.
