Beyond The Dream 2026

Welcome to the 5th annual MLK: Beyond the Dream Series. This series explores under studied aspects of Dr. King’s work and legacy as well as the Civil Rights movement as a whole. Past speakers have examined issues such as women and LGBTQ members of the movement and how Dr. King’s work influences contemporary movements. This year we have two events which will explore Dr. King's time in the region and how his experiences in South Jersey and Philadelphia influenced his life as well has his childhood and adolescence.
