To the Campus Community:

On Tuesday, Nov. 6, the nation will vote on a number of critical matters, including voting for President.  I encourage every member of our campus community to exercise the right to vote.

In New Jersey, voters will be asked to consider whether to approve a $750 million investment to fund higher education capital projects in New Jersey.  Public Question #1 holds the potential to advance all of New Jersey’s higher education institutions – including Rutgers–Camden – and is an important element of this year’s election.

You might have questions about what this referendum means for our campus.  I invite you to join me for a discussion about Public Question #1 at 12:20 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25.  We will meet in the main lounge of the Campus Center for a brief overview of the opportunities that the passage of this referendum could offer.
