Lea P. Stewart Appointed to the Richard D. Heffner Professorship in Communications and Public Policy
The Rutgers University Board of Governors appointed Lea P. Stewart to the Richard D. Heffner Professorship in Communications and Public Policy in recognition of her research linking interpersonally based prevention strategies with mass mediated campaigns targeting college student drug and alcohol use.

The new home for the Department of Chemistry and ChemicalBiology at Rutgers-New Brunswick provides expanded teaching, laboratory and support space. The four-story, 144,000-square-foot facility will help accelerate innovative work in biophysical chemistry related to human health, drug design and synthesis, alternative energy, biomaterials, nanotechnology and other fields.

Rutgers Board of Governors approved Jonathan Holloway to be the University's 21st president. Holloway will take over for current Rutgers President Robert Barchi on July 1st, 2020.
