Program Highlight: 100% Online Master of Public Health in Sexual and Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice

The Master of Public Health (MPH) in Sexual and Reproductive Health, Rights and Justice (SRHRJ) degree prepares students with the interdisciplinary public health knowledge, skills, and perspectives necessary to advance SRHRJ in diverse contexts. Through a rigorous and interdisciplinary curriculum, students will develop the knowledge and skills to evaluate and apply social, behavioral, legal, and epidemiological approaches in the design of SRHRJ research, policies, and programs. 

  • Graduates are eligible to sit for the Certified in Public Health Exam
  • The degree is offered 100% online in an online mixed format, which includes both synchronous and asynchronous courses

Department Spotlight: Environmental and Occupational Health and Justice

The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health and Justice focuses on environmental and occupational health, occupational safety, and environmental sciences, as well as other areas like sustainability and environmental medicine through its research, educational programs, and community engagement activities.

The department recently launched its MS in Sustainability and Health, which prepares students to think critically and systemically about the interconnections between human well-being and the health of the planet.

Discover: Rutgers Center for Whole Person Health

The Rutgers Center for Whole Person Health (RWPH) conducts research, training and practice that examines the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit. A key focus of our work is on the role of mindfulness as both a support of individual and collective health, as well as an agent of social cohesion that serves to challenge social and structural barriers to holistic health across settings.
