NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Republican political strategist Mike DuHaime, 37, now in his second year co-teaching the popular course “Political Campaigning” at Rutgers’ Eagleton Institute of Politics with Democrat Maggie Moran, has been named one of Time magazine's “40 Under 40 Rising Stars of U.S. Politics.” DuHaime was the chief strategist for Gov. Chris Christie's 2009 campaign. He is currently managing director of Mercury Public Affairs and leads the National Republican Senatorial Committee's independent expenditure efforts for 2010.

A Hoboken resident and Rutgers alumnus (Livingston College ‘95) who majored in journalism and political science, he took the campaign course himself as an undergraduate.
