Rutgers University Alumni Association webinar

Distinguished service professor Alexander Gates will discuss improving the success of minority students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) fields.

For the past 14 years, Gates has assembled teams of researchers and universities to develop innovative research-based practices to encourage the success of underrepresented students in STEM. He focuses on urban youth and has run programs for students from middle school through graduate school. These efforts have included most colleges and universities in central and northern New Jersey.
