The annual Rutgers Distinguished Lecture in Religion will feature Robert P. Jones, CEO and founder of Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) and a leading scholar and commentator on religion and politics. In his book, White Too Long: The Legacy of White Supremacy in American Christianity, Jones draws on history, public opinion surveys, and personal experience to deliver a provocative examination of the relationship between American Christianity and white supremacy, and issues an urgent call for white Christians to reckon with this legacy for the sake of themselves and the nation.

The webinar is sponsored by the department of religion at the School of Arts and Sciences, Rutgers University New Brunswick, and the Anna Morgan Fund. It is moderated by Hilit Surowitz-Israel and Dugan McGinley. The event is open to the public, but registration is required.
