How about an M.C.R.S. Degree?

Graduate students at Rutgers pursue an eclectic variety of degrees. In addition to M.A., J.D., and Ph.D. degrees, Rutgers confers many other degrees, including:

  • master of city and regional studies (M.C.R.S.), Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy
  • master of arts in liberal studies (M.A.L.S.), the graduate schools at Rutgers–Camden and Rutgers–Newark
  • master of human resource management (M.H.R.M.), School of Management and Labor Relations

Presidential Fellows

The president of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, invites outstanding candidates to apply to Ph.D. programs for consideration as Presidential Fellows.

  • $35,000 annual fellowship stipends for two years
  • Full tuition remission and paid medical coverage
  • Mentorship in applying for prestigious national or international fellowships
  • Additional years of support for candidates sustaining good standing in their program
